This information can be pretty useful for those who are in a position to plan in advance their vehicle shipping and thus save money and hassle. This chart will help our customers understand how the auto transport works, the numerous factors that come into play, and determine pick-up and delivery times as well as current prices, depending on the mass fluctuations, according to supply and demand.

Weather is a highly determinant factor when it comes to pricing and timing in car shipping: good weather means good driving conditions for auto carriers, therefore it should be easier and inexpensive to ship your vehicle, but that is the same reason everybody wants to do it at the same time, creating bursts and backlogs. During winter time, shipping your vehicle is a little harder and will take a bit longer. So, our best advice: pick the low months to move your vehicle; fall is a good choice to do it; in September, October and early November you will get good prices and a fast delivery. And again, if you really need your vehicle to be shipped fast and you can afford it, money is the key; there is always our Expedite (Premium) service; for an extra amount, you will get express transportation.
