1. Check your Bill of Lading: compare the condition of the vehicle and the damage you detect with that specified prior to loading to make sure it was not there before.
2. If it is not included and it is obvious that the damage occurred during transit, write it down in the same document, and have it signed by you and the carrier´s driver as well. Be sure to keep your copy.
3. Document the damage by taking pictures and videos from as many angles as possible.
4. You file the claim to the carrier with whom you will be dealing directly; he will handle it properly and promptly by contacting his insurance company and making all the necessary arrangements so your claim can be settled without any problems and you receive your compensation.
5. You inform us of the situation and we will help you throughout the process until the damage claim is settled.
